This outstanding vintage mid-century art carpet immortalizes the style and energy of Joan Miro and the abstract expressionists who helped develop modern art. This dramatic artistic statement piece has an elegant modern visage with a stark eggshell white field and neutral decorations that are not only modern but very versatile. Broad flowing brush strokes with calligraphic accents form inky black linear figures that have strong movement and create a series of abstract glyphs that have their own expressive language. These classically modern motifs have sensuous curves and ambiguous features that are paired with colorful circles and concentric roundels. This provocative art carpet is the epitome of modernity with its playful designs and grounded backdrop of sumptuous ivory pile.
